Running a monthly litter pick from the beginning of 2019 https://greaterbrislington.org/get-involved/litter-picking/ which has removed a huge amount of waste and helped make Brislington a cleaner nice place see our Litter picking record page for details of area’s cleared and amounts removed

Facilitating this Years Cil Bids with a successful Bid from Friends of Eastwood Farm for £65,000 towards the new playground on Eastwood Rd

Working with our local Councillors and the Council to have the path between Belroyal Ave and Bonnville Rd upgraded to an all-weather surface

Helping organise a Brislington supplement in south bristol voice and a monthly column in direct local bristol to further our community engagement especially to those who don’t use social media

2017-18

Last Years committee managed to get the group incorporated, arrange a bank account and secure funding through our local councillors, this helped the group pay for room hire and other activities like helping sponsor Brisday and the Springfest shopping bags. But  our biggest achievement was helping to  Secure approx £35,000 of Cil funding for 7 local groups in the Brislington Green Trail

building on last years success this Years committee will again help facilitate CIL funding bids for the next round of funding in 2019 , we are also talking with the COOP to get Brislington community organisations involved In the COOP charities funding scheme and have plans to improve our community engagement and communications.
